The Genius of Goldilocks
“There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.” (Alan Cohen)
Was Goldilocks right – about everything?
Just right. How many times have you realized that the answer to life’s challenges is finding the right balance?
Working out six days a week and pushing my body to the extreme has resulted in injury, fatigue, and disenchantment. Working out a couple times a week and putting in minimal effort results in, well, not much.
It’s the middle of the two extremes where balance occurs – it’ the “just right” place.
I can think of so many instances throughout my life where the two extremes were at odds with one another, and I struggled hard to find the proper equilibrium. Studying, eating, working out, sleeping, etc. Even cooking dinner. Too much paprika, not enough salt and the meal becomes forgettable.
And in finding the proper balance, Eureka! Goals are reached, progress occurs, and the juiciness of life prevails.
Discovering or re-discovering your equilibrium, whether emotional or physical, is fundamental in living a quality life.
I am here to help you do that.
